I met a small group og Japanese tourist on the way, they found it very funny to come to Copehagen and se a Dane in kimono, funny in a nice way : )
Here is what I put on for the day, not my bedst kitsuke, got a little too stuffed, but I had to leave so no time for a second try. I like the contemporary touch of it.
I am glad your first kimono outing by yourself went well. Mine was very nice, but also a little awkward because the festival I went to was in a very small town. The Japanese society who had an information session there looked at me like I was an alien at first because they had no idea someone in such a small town in the United States had any interest in kimono at all ^_^
